Ok ok I know I'm getting ahead of myself but I was just thinking about the playrooms and since I just started on JM when we were TTC I have never been part of one. So....will our group just turn into Jan 13 playroom? I'm wondering cause I feel like I'm getting to really know you ladies and have a strong feeling baby girl will be born in December. No offense to the December group but you guys are my group....

Yep it will automatically turn into a play group and the members will stay the same as the ddc.

Yay!! I know you are right there with me Holly and a few others. My first 2 were early so would be surprised to go over this time.
And she gets more expensive if we go over the Jan 1...then we have to pay the deductible twice.!! Of course if that's when she comes and she is healthy then that's just part of it!

I have no doubt my baby will make his or her way here in January. Would love the tax break and Dh says the baby will be here by January even if we have to induce. I refuse to induce though. I was induced with Kate and it went well but I want a more natural start to labor this time.

I'm hoping this baby will be born in Dec, for the tax break and so I don't have to pay the deductible twice too, lol! I doubt it though. My first (Kian) was induced and came a week overdue, and my second (Aria) was born 1 day before her due date. No matter what I'd stay with this group though

I went into unprogressive labor with ds at 36 weeks and after a few days they had to give me pitocin, he is fine but he wasn't quite ready to come out and had to spend a week in nicu. With dd I was 37 and half weeks and started labor...again contractions were not doing anything so had to be given pitocin. So really this one to actually be ready and start real labor.

I'm going to be forced into a repeat c-section. My due date is January 8th, but my doctor changed it to January 6th. I'm hoping that the new hospital listens to me and goes with January 8th, but if not, this could be a December baby, depending on their schedule. :/ I'm sticking with January DDC, too!

Since this is baby #5, I will probably go in late December. But I will be sticking with this group regardless.

Glad we all get to stay with each other!
I highly doubt this one will come any earlier than Jan. I was scheduled to be induced on my due date with DS but he came that day on his own. I'm 98% sure I was over due, cause he was measuring about 2weeks ahead of time (whcih I know can be normal), didn't have any of that white stuff nor blood on him at all! He was soo clean! and he had already pooped in there. I think I'll go about a week early though.
My question is, whats this about paying a deductible twice? I have no idea what that means lol

If your insurance has a deductible that you have to pay before they start paying out, it is usually yearly and resets Jan 01. So, my deductible is $750, so I will be working toward paying that amount with my office visits, u/s's, etc. and by the time I have this baby, IF I had it in Dec., I wouldn't have to pay much more of my deductible before my insurance would kick in with their 75%. But, if the baby is born in January, my deductible will reset to $0 and I will have to pay out $750 again before insurance pays a dime.

Exactly what she said...Mine is $500 and I had met part of it already and our high risk ultrasound was outside of our office so it went towards deductible so we only have like $200 left, but if she comes after 12/31 we pay $500.00 more.
And I think even if we are still in the hospital. So if we have her on Dec 31 but our stay rolls over to Jan 1 it would reset on us.

Insurance can really suck! Ours is so expensive now. With our son, we didn't pay a dime because hubby was a chaplain at the hospital where we delivered. With our daughter, we paid a $600 copay and that was it. I also only had to pay for one maternity office visit and it covered every single visit for the pregnancy. *sigh* Miss those days. AND our crappier insurance is MORE expensive now. Crazy!
