So, I had no baby items left from my other kiddos. We got rid of the last of it about a year and half ago. We are starting from scratch again.

My bff has a 4 yr old son and she got everything pretty neutral when she had him so she could save everything for the next baby. They aren't planning on having another now for at least another year and they are moving at the end of the month to another state. She told me I could have all the baby stuff she had been saving b/c they were planning on putting it in a yard sale to get rid of it and she wants to help her "niece or nephew".

DH went to go pick it up yesterday and holy crap! She gave us a swing, bouncer, jumperoo, baby exersaucer, changing table, crib, bassinet, carriage/carseat/base, bumbo seat w/a tray, baby bath tub, pack and play and even a baby/toddler sled. It looks like babies r us threw up in my apartment!! LOL

Everything is in great condition especially the bassinet. The carriage needs a big cleaning and I have to check the carseat and make sure it hasn't expired (it's never been in an accident) but wow. I'm just blown away!! She wouldn't let me give her anything for it either. We've been bff's since 2nd grade.

All I need now are diapers, wipes and the baby!! lol As for big items I'll need a high chair at some point.

We might buy a new carseat/carriage combo depending on expiration/cleaning. I feel SOOOOO blessed right now!! I also forgot how much space this stuff takes up!!! Today is going to be filled w/finding spots for everything. Eeeek!

Edit to add pics:

Exersaucer:

Jumperoo:

Bouncer - the cover was in her wash when he went to go get it so we'll have that later this week:

This is the pack and play. It's a bit outdated. I think it was her daughters (she's 7) and she used it again for her son. I haven't put it together yet to look at it but it's floral inside (def more girly):

This is the carriage/carseat combo. It's neutral but a bit more boyish (w/the blue) but if it works out (and if she's a girl for sure) I don't care. It's not like the major part is blue anyway:

Crib not assembled yet (we need to get the screws when we get the bouncer cover):

Changing table & bumbo seat. Just need a pad for the table. The bumbo seat is boyish but again if she's confirmed a girl, no biggie (they are $40 in the store and the trays are usually $10 more so I'm saving $50 - no need to be picky lol). I honestly can't wait to fill the changing table up with diapers/wipes/blankets etc.

The swing:

One of my favorite items. The bassinet:

Inside (it has a mobile, plays songs/white sounds and vibrates!):

And OMG isn't this soooo stinkin' cute? It's a baby sled!!!! The baby can use it not this winter obviously but next.

Aww friends are so sweet! I had a from from out of town visit yesterday and she brought me baby clothes in a particular print she knows I love.

It's so awesome that your friend gave you everything, especially when you were probably a little stressed about how you'd get everything you needed! It sounds like fun to have an apt. full... I know I'm on baby #6 and I *still* loving walking around the stores looking at baby gear, and I *still* enjoy getting little things here and there to stockpile for baby!

BTW we love our Badger Basket high chair for our DD and I will get another one for this LO when he/she is around 6mo. Was a great price and a fantastic high chair!

I love looking at baby stuff too. Even when I thought we were done having kids and we were by a baby section in a store I'd get all sentimental and smooshie

I'll look into the Badger basket! I never heard of it before.

Updated w/pics. Photobucket was being difficult and first they were too big and now they are appearing all different sizes to me but I have them all set at the same size. Photobucket can be such a pita! Please disregard all the background mess in the pics! I'm in the middle of cleaning/redoing things in our place (and now trying to fit all this baby stuff!)

Such a good friend I had the same exersaucer and jumper for my son, he LOVED them...he was chunky for awhile and his thighs stopped fitting in the jumper so I ended up buying a new one (both were given to us too!). Those two things plus my swing were lifesavers at various ages lol.

Edit: BTW you can buy new pieces for the exersaucer, so if you think any of them are chewed up or not cleaning well you can replace them We replaced two of the things on ours.

LOL that's my problem now. I forgot how much space this stuff takes up! Most of it's in my daughters room at the moment until we make room in the other rooms for various things. The changing table & swing will definitely go in the living room and the bassinet our bedroom. Eeeeeek!

OMG we have that same carseat/stroller combo and bassinet LOL. We bought that Graco set (carseat/stroller/packNplay/swing) because it was mostly neutral and we used it for my daughter. That bassinet is great too!
