Hi I'm due Jan 4th with our son. This is my second pregnancy. This morning I woke up at 4 am with bleeding. I went back to bed and got back up around 8 am. At that time I had no more bleeding. Nothing all day long. Have had alot of back pain and under my blot pain for most of the day. Baby has Been moving all day so that makes me feel better. Has anyone else had this before and what did you do?

I'd call your doctor and check in with them to see if they want to see you or not. Some women on this board have experienced some bleeding and all for different reasons.

I'm glad it stopped but I'd check in w/your doc just to be on the safe side. Glad the baby is moving around ok! That's always reassuring

Thanks going away for 2 days tomorrow night so that is making me nervous too. If it happens tonight I will call dr for sure. My husband said I'm fine but still nervous. Thanks for the input

I had some bleeding a while back along with period like cramps. I drank a ton of water and the cramps went away as well as the bleeding, I assume I was just dehydrated. You could try that. LIke the other ladies said though, its always good to check in with your dr.

Since it stopped and baby is still moving around, you're most likely fine. However, it's a good idea to call and let your Dr know. They'll want to, at the least, note it in their files.

I would drink lots of water, kick up your feet and relax, and call your doctor, just to let them know. Since the bleeding stopped and you are feeling movement, I would bet you are fine, but it never hurts to run it by your doc.

I had heavy bleeding with my first and it turns out that I had a low-lying placenta. Baby and I were fine, but it was scary. I hope the bleeding stays away. KUP on how you're doing!

Like many others said, give your doctor a call to advise. They will ask you the right questions and guide you as to your next steps. KUP on your progress! x

Went to the drs today for my scheduled appointment. Told her about the bleeding. She for a worried look on her face. She checked me to see if I was going into preterm labor since I had cramps too. She said everything was fine but I have to do an ultrasound tomorrow morning. Hope everything will be ok

Just be careful huh. If you remember, I had bad contractions/cramping and bleeding and I am now in pre term labor with a shortening/funneling cervix. Bed rest for 3 months......

ALWAYS check with you doctor, even if you think YOU and BABY are fine....its WAAAY better safe to get checked...then be sorry later.

*HUGS*

Went for the ultrasound today, the tech took lots of pictures of my placenta. She wasnt saying much which always worries me. She also tried to get a good picture of his face since we dont have one but he was facing my back. He is breech which is why im getting weird feeling down there. At the end i asked the tech if she saw anything. She said that i have leaking veins in my placenta which collect in pockets. So maybe that is where the bleeding came from. She said dont worry but of course i am concerned. Dr will have report on Friday she said. Anyone else have this or have suggestions. Thanks
