Ha ha ha, so I said that I would buy pretty much anything used other than pacis or bottles, but my husband has different standards. -- He asked from the other room, "what are you doing?" I told him that I was looking for cloth diapers on craigslist. He said, "What? No! We are not buying anything that I KNOW has had POOP in it!" I reply, but we got the sanitizing washer/dryer so we could do cloth diapers. And he responds, "I know, but we are not buying them. NO BUYING POOP!"

So there you have it. I am not buying poop - aka second hand diapers.

My husband was exactly the same way when I told him that part of the advantage of cloth was saving money by buying used. And he almost suggested a diaper service until he realized that meant we'd get back other people's used diapers. As far as he's concerned, it's new or disposable, and he just wants me to give up and go with disposable. As far as I am concerned, this is all still up for debate. We'll see...

This website, Diaper Swappers is a wealth of knowledge for all things cloth diaper...and beyond! There is even a FSOT (for sale or trade) board for used (and many times, new) diapers. Just about anything you want to know about cloth diapers can be found here!
