So I was making a little bin out of a diaper box. I was using spray adhesive to attach the material to the box. I breathed in a little bit but when I realized how strong it was I opened the door and held a shirt over my mouth. Periodically I did inhale some (by accident of course lol) and I feel fine but I keep worrying it has harmed the baby!
I think you're fine. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I accidentally inhaled a little oven cleaner when I was newly pregnant (like I was just beginning to SUSPECT, I didn't even know for sure) and I did worry about it but now that our babies are fully formed and just getting bigger, I don't worry as much about that sort of thing.
1. LOVE the new siggy
2. I wouldn't worry. You weren't around it for that long and we all do silly things while pregnant. A little of it is not going to hurt you or the baby. Just maybe make sure you have good ventilation or a mask before you keep working on it!
I don't think you have anyting to worry about. At this point the biggest concern is getting adequate oxygen to the baby. Its not like you sat in a fume-filled room for 20 minutes, Kwim? I think earlier on in pregnancy there are concerns of causing developmental problems, but again I think that would be more likely in a case of prolonged exposure.
On a related note, during my pregnancy with DD I was about 5 months along, and I inhaled a mouthful of helium from a balloon so I could talk silly. It wasn't until after I inhaled that I stopped and thought, "omg I'm pregnant! I shouldn't be inhaling helium!!!!" I felt like such a moron and I was so so so worried. I think I may have even posted in my DDC about it. They must have all thought I was nutso Obviously everything turned out fine. But it's only natural for us to worry!
