Just wondering what recommendations you all have for bottles to use while breast feeding? I will have to pump and LO will get a bottle at daycare. Thanks!

There are several that mimic a mother's breast shape, I'd try those. We used the Gerber NUK bottles with the wide base and the air flow something or other. But there are several options

Medela. Sick Kids sells a lot of Medela finger feeders, cleft palate bottles etc. So I trust them. They have a new system called calma.

All of my boys chose their own. I breastfed and they didn't get bottles until about 6 months so when they did.... I had to buy a few kinds until they found one they would tolerate..... It's different for each one

Good luck! It's getting close....

The ones that worked best for us were BreastFlow. They mimick the shape of a nipple and also the mechanics of BFing (compression and suction).
MIL2lissy8 and mojomama like this.

My girls also picked their own and they both used the Playtex Ventaire Advanced Wide bottles. I love how these bottles come apart at the top and bottom for good cleaning. My BF left a waxy substance on the insides of the bottle and I liked knowing they were truly clean.

My second took the Tommy Tippee for awhile as wel.

I also used the BreastFlow nipples. before I found them, I had three kids who absolutely refused bottles of any kind. if I wasn't available they drank from a cup- even as little babies.

We use the Gerber drop ins on the rare occasion we use one. Tried Tommie tippee but the flow was too fast and choked him.

I used the super cheap $1 bottles from Publix, lol. She didn't have many bottles, but I gave her her first one around 2 weeks in the hopes that she would at least learn to take one and she was fine with it. I plan to do the same thing this time.

It's always been trial & error until my kids found one they liked.

I liked the Medela bottles because I could pump right into them. Easy peasy.
