alright, one of my friends from high school just had her little boy at the start of september and she posted this picture today with the caption ''the clothes we went through in 2 DAYS!!! due to pee pee and blowouts'' Now i'm starting to question her diaper skills because that looks like enough clothes for a freaking month!! BTDT moms please tell me theres just something wrong with this pic, Otherwise I have to run out and buy a thousand more baby clothing articles.

For 2 days? Even if you double some undershirts and shirts.....somethign isnt quite right here.

I have raised 4 kids (17.5-8.5) and I can not fathom WHY you would go through that much clothing with a newborn.

I'm not sure even if you added in projectile acid reflux there would be that much.

No. Way. I'm a pretty OCD mom about my babies being messy and I change them whenever there is a spit up or potty leak, but I can say I maybe went through 4 outfits on the worst day... She needs to work on her diapering skills! LOL!

Just had to laugh. Exaggerate much? Geesh. I also say 3 to 4 outfits a day at most. Especially if you keep a bib on your baby and put the diaper on right.

no way! We went through 4-5 outfits on our bad days, but that's way less than what she has shown there! That looks like mroe than Sean's whole newborn wardrobe!

alright then i'll say it's due to bad diapering because she says he has multiple blowouts a day and everytime she goes to change him he pees all over the place. I remember earlier in a topic I asked how often blowouts occur and most of you gals said they happen seldom, maybe I suggest she change diaper brands or make them a little tighter.

We had blowouts, some days a couple times, many days none. She may need to move to a different size diaper, or change brands. I'm using cloth this time so I'm hoping to avoid so many blowouts (they are tighter around the waist and especially in back) And perhaps she should use some sort of pee pee shield? I mean, the cool air DOES make them pee often, but if you're expecting it, you can be prepared!

that could be true, She is breast feeding him and says he doesn't agree with most of the things she eats.

I've never had problems getting pee'd on by my little brothers when I changed their diapers I always had their fire hose covered with the old diaper until the new diaper was ready to be closed, however I am prepared for a couple golden showers when i'm dead tierd and out of it in those early am diaper changes.

I have a girlfriend that kept prefolds in her diaper bag because every single time she went to change her little boy he peed as soon as she got the old diaper off. She just learned to cover him up between the 2 diapers and he peed into the prefold.

I think I would be finding something to help out with the laundry situation for sure!

Is she USING diapers at all?! Seriously! That is ridiculous.

P.S. Just for the record, we have never had a blowout diaper with our cloth dipes. Just sayin'.
