Soo other other night DH and I were *ahem* being naughty. And spare the details he ended up on the newly oversized funbags and got a mouthful of liquid! Ladies, if you couldve seen the look on his face. I wish I couldve taken a picture. It was priceless. Neither one of us was ready for that.
So this raised a few questions for me..
1 Is it normal to have colustrum come in this early? Anyone else have this?
and 2 now that hes umm... "opened the dam" my boobs have started leaking after a shower or if I put pressure on them. Since you always hear that the more you pump or feed the more your body will make.. should I try to encourage it to come out? lol I'm not sure
Anything is helpful! Im not really sure how to look this up on the internet! lol
ahhhh ha ha ha ha ha ha! So funny! I was joking the other night when DH and I were in the same position that he better watch out. I haven't had any production/leaking yet, but if that happened to my DH he would've freaked out! ha ha ha. oh man, thanks for the laugh.
HEHE! Dh is definitely a fan of the girls too...and occasionally jokes that something may have come out, and makes a weird face. I kinda hope it actually happens and he gets a taste of his own medicine, er...or mine. haha
i started leaking with X at 13 weeks....and my milk never dried up (literally could squirt it) until i had my miscarriage this year (4 years) and then it dried up with my miscarriage and then I noticed I was leaking 3 days after i got a positive...and its back.......lol. im a cow!
Yes, completely normal. Warm showers and stimulation to the breast/nipple area can make the milk come out. You will find that when your milk starts to come in taking a nice hot shower helps to ease the discomfort. Same thing if one happens to get mastitis while nursing. Warm compresses and hot showers are wonderful. I would be very careful with making the milk come out manually, breast/nipple stimulation has been known to induce contractions and sometimes early labor. Not always, but it's possible!!
