We went to a concert last night and at first i was really worried that it was going to be too loud for Spike, but the baby kept kicking through the whole thing! So either it really loves indie folk/bluegrass, or that was it's way of telling me it wanted the loud noises to stop!!

We're going to see Dropkick Murphys in 3 weeks and i'm really worried that that show might be too loud. I'll be far in the back where it's safe though, those shows get crazy.

I bet that was fun! My mom said she and my dad went to a rock concert when she was pregnant with me and I apparently danced the night away. That might be why I am not a major classic rock fan!! Have fun, I don't think it is an issue for baby

Sounds like fun! Scooters first "real" kick happened while at a wedding, during the reception when the band was playing! Now, whenever loud music is on, he kicks away!

I definitely think Spike is developing a musical taste! Last week it really enjoyed Mumford and Sons, last night it was LOVING Trampled by Turtles. Daddy is going to be disappointed!!

OMG that crowd can get nuts!!! But there shows are AMAZING. Luckily this venue we'll be seeing them in has a balcony and that is where my pregnant behind will be firmly planted!!

I'm going to ask my Dr. if I can go to a concert at the end of this month... I am kind of worried about the noise too. It's Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson, so it will be LOUD! I really really want to go, though, but I'll take whatever advice she has. Obviously I won't be in the "pit" but high up in the stadium seats.

Did you ask for a doctor's opinion regarding your attendance?

I didn't think to ask when i was there last, so i was kind of worried at first. I did read around JM that concerts are ok as long as they're not too loud or standing right next to the speakers. Last night's show was more bluegrass/folk/indie so i wasn't too worried. DKM i'm a little bit more worried about.

Oh I wanted to go to the rob zombie and manson concert! lol. not going to that one unfortunatly, but we are ging to see primus in november, from what I've heard it's ok like a previous post said as long as your not like standing right in front of the speaker, and stay back from rowdy people. We paid extra for balcony seats also so I can sit comfortably the whole time. I would expect the zombie and manson crowd to be qute rowdy so I would just be extra careful about that. But DKM sounds like it will be allot of fun too, I'm actually just getting into them. Hope Spike likes them too!
