I asked my doctor on Monday what they were/what they felt like...and she said that they felt like period cramps that would come and go or they also feel like a hard ball in your tummy that contracts. This made sense to me because there have been times that I have felt the period type of cramps and some hurt more than others but they always go away fairly soon.
What did yours feel like? Hopefully they are gone now!
I did feel crampy and my stomach was hard in a spot. I just told myself maybe it was the baby's head or butt! Hmm I'll have to pay more attention next time I feel that. I just remember thinking something felt off.
Then this must have been bh because I remember telling DH to fele the hard stop then after rolling over a few time to get comfy I felt again and it wasn't hard anymore. At least it wasn't painful. I'm not ready for pain.
I completely agree with the breathless part. My stomach usually tightens and literally looks like a square or a lump on either side of my belly button. Most of mine are uncomfortable but that is because my stomach gets sooo tight. I have heard they typically last from 15-30 seconds. That sounds about right for what I feel.
Mine are definitely the hard to catch your breath type. Usually, that's the first sign for me, then I realize my midsection is kinda tight and restricted. I don't feel crampy, barely even uncomfortable even, other than the not being able to catch my breath...
