Now that we are getting really close, and there is less space in there......have you noticed any changes in movement? I know some of us are not due until the end of January and some at the beginning so it can vary. I am 34 weeks today and I do sense some type of change.....It feels more like pushes and jabs now then actual kicks...........what about you ladies?

Yes. More like he has gained a considerable amount of weight and each time he moves now I feel it all over. More pushes definitely.

Absolutely. I started noticing changes at 30 weeks. The girls are more like snakes in there now. They kind of "snake around" or do the "wave."

Room is tight and they are really jammed right now.

Yep. More rolls, pushes and small jabs instead of big kicks.

And I agree that it hurts more. She's so low in my pelvis that sometimes I jump when she starts moving around.

Yes, I miss the little flutters and kicks. Now it's like the movie Alien. Sometimes I feel like she is going to burst out! Also, my entire midsection moves when she moves. Since it is pretty constant, it is getting tiring! Glad she's healthy, though!

Definitely in the past week I've noticed a change (32 weeks tomorrow). It's like she doesn't have the room to pull back before punching. I'll also back the "snakes" feeling. Its like my skin is crawling sometimes. She also seems to have settled into one spot. Unfortunately that means that there's a lot more painful motion lower down. (Yay for headbutts to the cervix.)

Oh, man. Thanks to my short-waistedness, strangers have been able to see obvious movement for a long time. Hahahahahahaha She's been digging into all the uncomfortable spots for a while, too. Eek! She's been in the same position for a very long time, and I'm not sure that she likes it. She was awake and kicking for over 13 hours straight last night, to the point that I almost went in. She finally settled down, but this morning, I went to hug DS1, and she kicked, HARD. He thought that I had jabbed my fist into him or something! Siblings, already fighting! Hehehe

She's much stronger, and getting much more upset with me if I try to lean forward or something that squishes her. She's very upset that my right lower rib is in her way and constantly tries to push it away. And apparently my bladder is not comfortable as a pillow if it gets more than 1 oz of pee in it, so she starts beating the holy heck out of it.

Spike catches me off guard all the time, so not only is it a little painful but i make a weird noise because i'm surprised. DH teases me that i sound like one of the running gags from Family Guy:

Whoops, forgot to answer the OP!

Yep, totally different movements. They are more dramatic, and they hurt way more. Though, every time Scooter makes a big roll or huge kick that hurts, I say "OW!" really loud, then follow it with an giggle. Always makes DH laugh that I laugh. But I just love it all so much! I know that even when he is hurting me inside, I will miss this feeling when he is here (of course, I will have HIM here instead, but there is something really special about all these in utero feelings!)

Yes!! I can feel him move all the time now. Just the pushing in and out no more kicks. Sometimes I will walk and feel him move and I go to touch my stomach and feel a little finger or elbow or something poking out. When I go to touch he immediately brings in back in lol. It always makes me think he's messing with me

when he rolls, it takes my breath away. okay, not sure if he really is rolling, but whatever he is doing in there. sometimes i "gasp" or say "ow" because it is unexpected....and sometimes he can't get comfy in there for hours. it is exhausting.
