This is so sweet. I'm glad that you're able to be positive about even that. I hope that things continue to go as well as possible in the situation and that your health care people are really on their game this week while they help you make decisions about what to do next!

Glad things are going well!! I know its probably scary since your not quite term yet but it's still so exciting knowing you'll have a baby this week!

Will they induce by a certain point if you don't go on your own, since your water broke?

You have a lot going on over there lady! I'm glad that they were able to move you into a different room and at least make you a bit more comfortable. I know how boring hospitals can be, but not being hooked up to all those monitors at least makes you a bit more mobile!

You'll have to let us know how the u/s goes. It sounds like she really is a great weight though and who knows, maybe she'll be a bit more!

Rest up and hey at least this is some good solid time to think of a name for this little one

the goal is to try to reach 34 weeks, then they will discuss inducing. However if I do happen to go into natural labor before then, they will not attempt to stop it.
It's probably confusing bc my ticker is "off"... I calculated my due date based off my LMP, however the Dr has me due about 10 days after that based off an early U/S. They are saying I'm 33 weeks, 2 das right now. Although I agree more with my due date, it makes sense that they have to follow their own in terms of my treatment.

Wow, that's sound very similar to when I had DS1!! My water broke on a Friday at 34.2 weeks and I was admitted to the hospital. I got the steriod shots and also waited for my doctor to get back from vacation. After spending the weekend there they did an ultrasound on Monday to see how big the baby was and determine if they were going to induce me. About an hour later they were starting me on pitocin! I delivered him in the OR for safety reasons, but he was perfectly healthy. He didn't have to go to the NICU and came home with me 2 days later!

Just wanted to give you some hope! I pray it all goes well for you and baby!!

Glad things are going well. It sounds like that little one of yours is being very cooperative by staying put for the moment. Sounds like she is looking good and seems to be content to wait for another little while before making her grand arrival!

KUP on how you're doing! Thinking of you!

TFS this. I think the hardest part is not knowing what to expect. Everyone here at the hospital is telling me to expect she'll be in the NICU for a while. So I'm trying to prepare myself for what it will be like to have them swoop her away after birth, to not have her in the hospital room with me, and all the emotions that will entail. But then I read stories online about babies going home fairly quickly. As much as I'm NOT hoping for a NICU stay, a part of me would Love to get home even just a day before her so I can "nest". DH is doing a lot at home, he stepped it up this weekend caring for DD and getting out baby gear... But I'd really like to get home and survey the scene before bringing home baby.

Anyways, back to bed. I'm getting pretty good sleep, it's just hard bc the nurses come in every few hours to check stuff. Its all good though.

Ahh! I was MIA this weekend and am just reading this now! So glad you are doing well! Hope your little girl can hold out in there a little longer and come when she's ready I know I always miss the kids when I'm in the hospital (or even away for the weekend)- and you don't even get to do anything fun! Good luck!

Dr says baby looks happy in there right now, so the goal is to keep her in there a bit longer. Unless I go into labor on my own. But either way, I'll be having her sometime this week most likely.

I know this isnt what you had wanted, but I had my son at 35 weeks and he was healthy as a horse. Your only a week and a half from being term, so your daughter will be healthy and happy if she comes this week.

I'm sorry tho, KUP okay?

I've been keeping tabs on you all weekend

I'm glad you are comfortable at least, and that you found the energy to post a belly pic and the Dec roll call

Hang in there, try and relax, and everything will be just fine! x

WHAT?! EEEEEE! I missed getting on all weekend (including Friday). I'm sorry that I missed this! I am glad that you went in and that things seem to be looking good for you and baby, but I know how scary that must be! Wow!

Are they looking at a certain date yet? I hope that you're resting well and feeling well and that LO is still happy in her warm womb there.

You are handling this all as cool and calm as a cucumber. I'm really impressed. I hope everything continues to go well, even if she's making a slightly earlier appearance than you first anticipated.
