Anybody else wish their LO would come now even though there are no signs at all pointing to a baby on the way? I'll be full-term in a week (I know, ahead of most of the ladies here), and all I can think about is how much I want her to come any day. On the flip side, I have been feeling like she'll be very late all along, coming between 41 and 42 weeks. Her measuring small doesn't help me feel confident she will be arriving early either even though I am SO READY FOR HER!

Anyone else 'ready' but not?

I feel ya. I'm not due till Jan 13th, but I am feeling totally impatient and want her to come tomorrow! But...I know that's too soon and a horrible thing to wish because she is not ready. Those little lungs need to grow!

I wish they would give you a due date week not a due date because you get really fixated on that date. Also, I think all girls wish/think they will deliver early and that might not happen. Heck she may not come till late Jan! (I really hope not though)

At the same token though, I really can't have her come till Jan. I have too many things to get in order in terms of my maternity leave and work projects that I stupidly took on that I need a few more weeks of pregnancy to get them done. I'm not full term till Dec 22nd (ironically enough my bday) so anytime after that she is fine to come! But at the same time I want to meet her now! ahhhhh this last stretch is difficult!

I have an idea of what you mean besides extreme fatigue, and sparatic backache and swelling I often forget I'm pregnant. So to actually feel labor signs will be very wierd, I found that I'm not ready for baby. But today I did get a giddy thinking about holding and smelling him

Opposite problem. munchkin wants to come & i want him to. but My primary dr. said if went into labor again she wouldnt stop it last week however when went into hospital the next day she wasnt the dr. on call that one that was is more conservitive & did stop me. Now am completely ready for him to be here to stop all the chaos that him wanting to come had caused.

Nope, not ready, not ready at all. STAY PUT, LITTLE BABY.

Of course, I'm only 31 weeks, so it would be too early, anyway. But I have a bunch of stuff I want to finish first so I can relax and enjoy a little time at home when it's born. And while I am uncomfortable and sore, and I am looking forward to being a mom, I can wait.

I am having mixed emotions. I really want school to be over (thank goodness my last final is a week from Thursday) that way I can just clean and relax...get Christmas ready and my house ready for baby.....and ENJOY PREGNANCY, something I feel I haven't got to do yet.....

THEN...I feel totally ready, especially after my surprise sprinkle this weekend and now that I have pretty much everything ready...I AM READY TO MEET HIM. it is hard having a 4 year old that asks me a bazillion times a day when his brother is coming too! HAHAHA.

I go back and forth... I'm really not "ready"- the baby's room is not done, I have tons I need to get done with at school before I can take leave, and just the fact that I keep thinking "4- Wow." BUUUTT... this pregnancy is wearing on me and I am so excited to meet her and see that she is healthy!! (My LO does still need a few more weeks to "cook" though... At least until New Year's. On a side note, though, I feel like my dates may be wrong since she is measuring two weeks ahead and I had NO IDEA when I conceived!

I'm due on Jan 6th, and I want her to come early, but not Christmas week! She needs to be a little tiny bit early, or REALLY early! I'm 35 weeks, so not quite term, but babies born now are 99% just fine. I don't want her here yet, but right at 37 weeks would be awesome!

I can't decide whether to buy a Christmas outfit just in case or not!

I'm ready only because I'm worrying now about my b/p and his and my health. I know it's early but I hate this constant worry. If it weren't for that I would be content waiting; I still feel pretty good and am enjoying feeling him in there.

I'm impatiently awaiting her arrival but I know she's not done baking. I'm not full term until January 1st so I would love to have her any time after that.

Totally ready. I've been in such discomfort this time around that I can't wait to be done. I don't want him to come before he's fully baked (and by that I mean before full term), and I know there are benefits to staying in through 39-40 weeks, but I really wouldn't mind him being just a little early...

Not even close to ready. For many reasons. I have SO much to do around here, and I want to get everything done, and have some down time before he arrives to relax. Secondly, he's WAY too early right now (just at 32w today)...and I want him to bake as long as possible!

At only 32 weeks, I know it's WAY too early, but still, the very real possibility of having her in February eats at me. I really want her to be born in january, and February can be my son's month. They'll already practically share a birthday with due dates only 6 days apart!

I want her to come as close to 40 weeks as possible. I also want her out NOW. Hahaha If I could get rid of the discomfort and contractions before full-term, I'd take that. But her room is still storage, we still need so much, and our apartment is a wreck. As in, we haven't unpacked, clothes aren't out of boxes, and we haven't washed dishes for 2 weeks, thanks to going away for Thanksgiving and me being on rest. Still, I feel like I'd actually be able to get up and do that stuff and get into Christmas if she would just come on! (But not yet, do you hear me, Little One?)

We have so much that needs done first. We just got DD's new room painted and the last of her furniture arrives tomorrow. I did move all her clothes over to her new dresser yesterday, and got most of her stuff out of her old room. But there is still a lot to do to get the baby's stuff ready. We still have to put up the crib, get out all the clothes/supplies from storage and wash them, etc.

I wish DH was more interested in helping though. I think he believes it is still early but I don't want to wait until last minute to do everything. Right now it looks like we will be doing a repeat csection the last wk of Jan. However we have a growth u/s on Jan 3 to see if we need to go earlier. And with the holidays coming up I would like to get most of it done.
