So usually I wear make up when going anywhere...sometimes light make up, other times, full on make up. I don't wear a lot but it's enough to make me look good! I decided not to wear anything but my foundation and a dash of color on my cheeks and what not...baaaaad idea. Just walked out of the bathroom here at work and my goodness...I look awful!! Absolutely terrible! My poor eyes look tiny and dead.
Note to self....do NOT do this again!
Christ follower, wife, mommy, friend, student, maker of babies...in no particular order!
I have tried the same thing - the foundation natural route, thinking meh my eyes don't need all that help. I am ALWAYS proven wrong. I look totally drained out and tired without eye makeup! I literally wear foundation, eye liner, maybe shadow and mascara and it's ridiculous how much different it can make you feel/look when it's so little lol! I learned my lesson awhile back I won't leave the house without something on my face, it just makes people ask if I'm sick lol.
I look like he L L when I go out I'm sure...I'm not a big make up wearer unless we're going to something special, so for me it's usually just powder with a dusting of bronzer in the winter, and mascara. I know i'm looking worse and worse these days with the "you look worn out" comments!
OMG I went out to walmart last night, in sweat capris, a HUGE red sweater that is like 5 sizes too big but soo comfy, no makeup, and hair hardly done (i hardly have any) i looked a hot mess....and guess what....I see one of my worst enemies I went to high school with...yes we graduated over 10 years ago, but still...i felt like a slob...i just kept walking but I knew she knew who i was. I was soo mad. lmao
I don't own makeup, and the one brush we have is only used on DS1 to tame his hair in the morning. Hahahahahahaha I'm sure that I'm always dreadful-looking. I'm guessing that you looked just fine. Pregnancy doesn't always make us feel like we look our very best, though. "Shut up! This pregnancy acne is HOT!"
