Ok so I mentioned it in Wendy's thread about walking and contracting and seems I'm not the only one feeling it so.....What is it!!!???

Walking and getting that twinge shocking feeling in your cervix area. It actually makes me stop and catch my breath. And I wonder if I kept walking if my water would break because she is pressing down or something.

If it's like a lighting bolt sensation then I think it's babies head pressing on a nerve, I was only getting that while walking but last night I was laying on the couch and let out 3 little cries because I felt the shocking sensation 3 times in less than 2 minutes. I felt like i was hit by a tazer gun for a split second.

Yup. Sounds like baby's head is sitting on a nerve. I get that from time to time. Sometimes it makes me gasp and double over and then people look at me all funny.

Mine is less of the nerve-ending feeling, and more of a heavy, solid pressure.

My sister is 39 weeks and was just telling me this morning that she was having the exact same pain. I think it must be nerves on the cervix also.
