I've been getting quite a few PM's lately asking me if I've heard anything regarding Audrey and her twins Sarah and Leah.
Unfortunately, I have not heard directly from Audrey in about 5-6 weeks. I'm praying that no news is good news, so I'm going to stick with that right now. I've been emailing her once a week with a prayer. In my email today I informed her of the mom's that were asking about her. I'm positive she would appreciate the extra prayers and thoughts. Please continue to keep Audrey and her girls in your prayers and as usual, I will update everyone as soon as I do hear from her.
Just a quick update on my twins...
I made it to 36 weeks today. I'm miserable to the 10th power, but I know that it is better for my girls the longer that I stay pregnant. I'm only 1/2 cm dilated, so nothing is really happening at this point. I consistantly put on one pound a week, so each girl is gaining about 1/2 pound. All NST's and u/s's have been fine, so the girls are allowed to keep baking.
At my last u/s both girls were head down. My doctor wants me to try for a vaginal delivery, so I will do my best. I'm not going to lie, I'm scared baby b will flip once baby a comes out and that I'll have a c-section afterall. I just don't want to have a baby each way -- no offense, but I really don't need to experience the magic of birthing a child each way imaginable all on the same day.
I feel enormous, since I'm measuring 42 weeks, but still everyone that I see tells me that I'm "not that big" and that I look like I'm having "just one boy." Well, there are two in there and they are girls, so wrong!
I just wanted to give everyone an update on both of us twin momma's. Keep praying for Audrey and her sweet girls and let's hope I can make it to 37 weeks!
I don't blame you for not wanting to deliver one vaginally and the other c-section! Hopefully both babies cooperate by staying in a bit longer, and staying head down during delivery.
I give you tons of credit for making it this far with twins! Bake a lil' bit longer girls!
I will be thinking of Audrey and her girls. Hopefully no news is good news.
Vaginal and C-Section!? No thank you ma'am! One or the other I agree with you.
That's so great you're at 36 weeks. I know that a lot of twins come early and it sounds like yours are doing fantastic minus the effects on your body. It makes me think twice about complaining about my issues, imagine two!
Also, thanks for whatever info you had on Audrey. I think about her often and I hope that she and her girls are doing alright.
Keep doing what you're doing and so glad to hear you three are well
