Well, took Madison in to the Peds this morning just because I was nervous about her fever being so high last night and the nasal swap showed she has the flu. I broke down in a half cry in the office...it just seems like there is always something. It's a slap in the face really. She is acting fine and her temp is under control so I hope the meds kick in and quick.

I'm sorry. The flu stinks. What did they give her? Tamiflu? I hope things don't get too bad for her and you stay well! Hope she feels better soon!

Dang the flu is everywhere this winter! Blame the hormones and the fact that you have been under a lot of stress with bedrest and pregnancy related issues for the tears, I'm sure no one blinked twice

Glad to hear she seems to be in good spirits despite it all. Kick in fast meds!

Ok....I might be able to make you feel better....ready! My one son just had pneumonia/sinus infection, my other a double ear infection with an upper respiratory infection, I am almost 35 weeks and getting what one of the kids has....while packing the contents of my home, we are moving next week to a new home one week before Christmas! None of this wears to me....why? Because I am heartbroken for the families in CT....feel better Wendy and Lil' Madison! ! Xoxoxoxoxo

I'm glad you took her in so fast, hopefully she will be better soon.

I swear, this illness season has been TERRIBLE. Everyone everywhere is sick. Ugh. I am SO scared to go out or let my kids be around other kids, afraid that we'll come down with something right when baby is born. Then after he gets here I know I won't want him around any germs either. Yuck yuck yuck.

Yep, I got the flue shot a while back and just hope I don't get anything else before or right after Latham comes. It kinda bothers me that nobody takes the offer up to wear the masks in those offices, knowing they are bad off and most likely have something that nobody else wants.

Poor baby. Hope she feels better soon. It's miserable to have our babies sick.

Thanks everyone! She was acting like herself today. I knew yesterday it was something more than a cold; could just see if in her face. Anywho...I think the meds will work fine and she will be back to her crazy self in no time
