Today I made 7 freezer meals for after baby is born, plus two pans of Christmas candy ans two kinds of pretzels with the kids. I'm feeling mighty productive... and now exhausted! Also have all my lesson plans done for my sub while I'll be home. Feels good to get somewhat ready! Now I just need to get through all the festivities and get her room ready, then she's free to come whenever she wants!!

Also super excited for tomorrow! Two of my BFFs (since I was 5) are taking me for a little girl time tomorrow- pedicures & lunch at my favorite restaurant! It's our little tradition for celebrating babies. Can't wait!

That's great! I wish I had some of that done, I still need to make room in my freezer! I love that feeling of being "ready" though!

ergg, I so am dropping the ball on making freezer meals. I wrote my meal plan out but I just can't get myself to start cooking, and i know if I leave it up to DH we'll starve.

I've never done meals in the past. We had an awesome church that arranged meals for the first week home, plus our moms are awesome with helping out and a good friend of mine usually brings food. I just didn't want to deal with it... If it was up to DH, we would have frozen pizza for every meal!

I made meat loaf, 2 spaghetti pie, baked ziti, chicken club casserole, enchiladas, and chicken crescent bundles. I tried a couple new recipes. I'm making chili and lasagna later this week and plan to make double and freeze half. It makes me strangely excited to get this done... Guess I'm nesting!

I did well at first to make a few batches of soup to freeze, but I've dropped the ball on anything else. I haven't felt well enough to do it. I thought I'd make mac and cheese, a sweet potato and veggie stew, a frittata, and have a chicken and some pork chops ready to cook for the Crock Pot. We'll see. Every time I cook anything, DH doubles up his portion, so...

I've only had one pedicure ever, but it was amazing. Enjoy it! I hope that you come back feeling relaxed and pampered.

Nice! I did some freezer breakfasts this weekend. Pancakes, waffles, and sausage & egg burritos. I'll have to start on meals after the holidays.
