I don't know that I've ever done this before, lol. With my other two I really don't remember feeling the need to clean and organize, but I'm determined this time to wash every item of clothing in this house and make sure it's all organized neatly before baby gets here. Also doing lots of of fixits around the house and just general cleaning. I realllllly want all the walls and baseboards washed and everything dusted (we have high ceilings so lots of tall, hard to reach/dust spaces, ugh) but I'm contemplating hiring someone to come do some of that.
I have way more energy than I've had recently and I feel pretty good so I'm taking advantage of it. It feels great!!
I'll be either 36 weeks or 37 weeks on Tuesday (I think, lol). I'm not positive since this was a surprise and we didn't realize it right away, haha, but based on u/s's my due date is either Jan. 15th or Jan. 9th. My first u/s was at what they estimated to be 18 weeks so I know they can be off by that point, so really who knows, lol. Somewhere around there feels about right though! I'm hoping we make it to the 28th because my mom will be here then, but I want him in 2012 so I have a very narrow window there, lol!
We've lived here for 3 months, and we're nowhere near unpacked. I have less and less energy, BUT yesterday, I went to the store, bought a shelf, an over-the-door organizer, brackets (for tethering heavy furniture), Command hooks/strips, plastic bins for storage, and a few more things for cleaning/organizing. Today, in spite of the SPD being at an all-time high, I put together the futon, moved some furniture (a no-no, and I totally understand why), put the shelves together, organized them, did a few loads of laundry, vacuumed part of the floor with one of those tiny Dirt Devils (our regular vac is broken, and I can't afford another, BUT IT HAD TO BE CLEAN), organized other stuff...and I have a lot to do still. DH is at work, so I'm taking advantage of him not telling me to sit down and tell him what to do. I know, I know, this is SOOOO not "rest" like the docs advised, but I cannot help it! Sheesh!
