Hi LAdies!!!

For the past few days I have been experiencing a major increase in White Vaginal Discharge......

I don't recall this with my last 2.......what I did have with DS was mucus at 39 weeks and a lot of it so when I called they told me to go to the hospital since my OB was already there and I was losing a lot of fluid so they induced me......this is not mucus.......

Anyone else experiencing this and if so do you know what it mean?

I do go tomorrow morning for my 37 week appointment (will be 37 weeks on wed actually)......but I just get nervous......

Increased vaginal discharge can be normal at this stage (whether or not you had it prior). However, my doctors have told me that if it is liquid-y or watery (like urine consistency), to call or go to triage since it might be a small fluid leak. But, if yours is white, it might be normal discharge or might just be part of your plug?

I'm a FTM, so don't take my words as truth for sure! Hopefully some other ladies will chime in.

Isnt it frustrating, you read all the books and websites and it can be absolutely normal or a sign of something else... makes you feel so torn. I know I feel like Im crying wolf if I bring up something that is nothing....

Increased d/c is normal at this stage, and if its white, makes me think its normal type discharge (it has a fancy name, and shame on the bad nurse here for not remembering it..but its a milky like d/c) is like ewcm? Is it watery or thicker than that? Is there an odor?

Just another 'perk' of pregnancy. As long as it's not yellow (or too yellow) or foul smelling you should me okay. I've had it all thoughout my prenancy, sometimes (tmi) it even feels like I've just wet myself some because of how much can come out at a time. Gross stuff.

Yup sounds normal. My dr said not to worry, even if my mucous plug comes out because it is normal. Only to call if my water breaks or contractions are 5 mins apart
