Well, my INTENT was to take all our pint glasses out of 1/6 portion of one of the cabinets, and put some in storage, donate some, etc, to make room for the little bit of baby stuff we have.

Well.

2 hours later, every kitchen cabinet has been emptied, rearranged, and reorganized...including the pantry.

I'm about 1/2 done, but can't look back now. Geez, what have I done?

Oh, dear. I totally understand. Ours is coming from moving in still...3 months ago. I had the utility closet and pantry mostly organized. But then we keep finding more boxes. I have to keep taking things out of the kitchen cabinets, overstuffing them, etc. Right now, the kitchen and living room have NO pathways because we're trying to reorganize before the baby is here. Because I can't do much at a time, there's no order, only chaos. It's been this way for weeks now, too. Ugh. You're a hero for getting it all done in a few hours! I need a tall chair so I could reach up while still sitting, a task-oriented DH, and someone to watch my kids. Then I could get it accomplished! Hehehe

I think I am very thankful that all I have is 2 geriatric dogs (which, don't get me wrong, require enough attention of their own), but if I keep the house warm enough, they will sleep most of the day.

Hahahahaha! I don't have pets (other than mice), just the 2 boys. They want to be "helpful", which leads to days and days of working on what should have taken 1-2 hours. Hehehehe

You are nesting! Use this time to deep clean your house because once baby arrives it's hard to ever get this motivated again.

Maids come Friday for a quick pre-holiday cleaning, then they will come and help me do a deep clean in Jan!
