I haven't been around in a loooong time. Starting at around 27 weeks I had signs of early pre-e then some unexpected issues that showed up on an u/s...it was just very overwhealming and stressful to say the least - not knowing if my baby would be alright, not knowing what to expect or what could happen and no one could tell me anything. I've had regular NSTs and ultrasounds weekly since then and just didn't want to explain anything or even talk about it more than I had to irl.

As it looks now, as of the latest u/s on Monday, baby boy looks like he's just fine and healthy and measuring to be almost 40 weeks (I was 37 weeks on Monday.) A huge relief that drs aren't overly concerned now!

At my ob appointment on Monday I was having some painful contractions so she did a check and found that I was a good 3cms dialated so she did a stretch & sweep in hopes of speeding up the process - I've been in a lot of pain for several weeks. I had regular contractions that night for about 4 hours and Wednesday huge clumps of mucous plug with lots of pink - not sure how that was still intact after the s&s.

It's Saturday - I'm still pregnant and just having very infrequent contractions still. Guess this Monday I'll be back to the ob!

Well, hello! I'm so glad that you're doing okay, and that your wee one is, too! Not so thrilled that you've been in so much pain and that it continues, though. You still have most of today and all of tomorrow for him to come! I'll keep everything crossed that you don't have to go in for another appointment on Monday!

Sounds just like me! I had early signs and have been to a dr every single week, sometimes 2-3 times a week. I get sick of talking about it too. I'm so ready to be done! Hope you have your LO soon!
