My baby girl Sophia was born with Coombs Positive. This is when the mother and baby has 2 different blood types that are incompatible. So, this being the case, my daughter had jaundice. She was under the lights at the hospital and we almost were not discharged when we were supposed to be but they let us go that night. Then the next morning we went to the pediatrician and she had to have the biliblanket at home for more than 48 hours. She was taken off the blanket on Saturday afternoon. So today we headed back to the pediatrician for a re-check and she is doing great! Her jaundice is pretty much gone, she is gaining weight, about an ounce a day and has grown in length as well. She is a very healthy girl!!
