I had such a scare yesterday morning I just wanted to warn people this can happen...and if it does do not panic....like me!
Friday I was showing my mom all the weight I lost but I showed her how rock hard my "pouch" area was and we thought it was just me being 2 weeks out and still swollen. I also showed her this little "blood blister" I had where my incision was healing (which is almost healed and looks awesome)
well yesterday morning I told andrew i was going to get a shower i went to get up and i heard like a POP and looked down and all this brown stuff was everywhere and I look and this blood and water is POURING out of this little hole...honestly not exageratting, it was A LOT. I am also on blood thinners so I did not have any idea what was going on. I yelled to Andrew to call 911 since I honestly thought I was bleeding out and there was no way he could get me to the ER fast enough with 2 kids still in their PJ's. I went to the ER by Ambulance and here it was what they call a "senoma" (not sure if I am spelling it correctly.
They basically said cutting in that area often leads to this, and the water type stuff built up in me over the past 2 weeks (that hard pouch is now gone) it was like the wound and cells breaking down...completely normal but usually the body absorbs this stuff..but sometimes it doesn't....so mine found that little way out and it all came out!
Just be careful when healing and if you see anything like that call your doctor. I seriously was soo scared.....!!!
