Have you noticed your lo sleeping more?

Max has slept all day!! I wonder if it's a side effect from the zantac or if hes finally getting some comfort and is catching up on sleep. I'm about ready to call the on call ped!

Lucy started Zantac last week. I haven't noticed her sleeping more, but then again she's always been a pretty sleepy baby. Well, except for sometimes in the middle of the night, like right now. Grr!!!

But perhaps it could be a comfort thing, the discomfort of the reflux could have been waking him prematurely before.

Parker has been on Zantac for about 2 and a half weeks and if I remember correctly he was pretty sleepy once it started kicking in because I think he was catching up on sleep from the lack of it with the reflux before. Unfortunately now it seems the zantac dosage might need to be increased because a lot of his symptoms are coming back. Ugh I hate reflux!

Yeah, my dr said that zantac needs to be increased with weight so you always have to watch the symptoms......

Sophia has been a Zantac for almost 3 weeks now. I wouldn't say it made her sleepy BUT I would say that maybe have 4 days or so on the Zantac we noticed a change in her behavior, not as fussy, not screaming constantly, the gagging at the bottle decreasing, the congestions during feeding decreasing and sleeping better bothe during the day and night. If he is sleeping much more often than before I would say that he is prob just more comfortable which is a good thing meaning that the zantac is working! However, I am no doctor so please don't take my advice and go with it, by all means if you are concerned about his sleeping, then def contact your doctor and ask but I do not recall drowniess being a side effect listed.
