Max has quit napping during the day anywhere other than on top of me and it's making me batty. The kid never seems to get into a deep sleep. I was checking with dr google and I found this article really interesting.

This was a great article. I have only recently discovered the types of sleep that Baxter does. Now at night I am trying something new, which seems to work though takes time. I feed him at the breast until he is done, then let him comfort nurse until he falls asleep. He usually falls into the light sleep pretty quickly but after about 15 more minutes he will zonk out. This technique has allowed me to get to sleep about an hour earlier each night and has also reduced the time he stays awake following his middle of the night feeds (precisely what I am doing right now, waiting for him to zonk!)
