Yes, that's right...I am still stressing over her poop.....prob because it changed so much...so, I figured I would do a poll to compare!!!

How would you describe your LO's poop?

Are you BF/FF/or Both?

Color?

Consistency?

Loose, runny, hard, normal?

Do they strain and push to get it out?? Does it come out after straining?

Do they cry when pooping or farting?

If you changed formula or went on meds, did you see a change in their poop?

Are you BF/FF/or Both? FF

Color? Yellow

Consistency? Like thick muffin batter

Loose, runny, hard, normal? Soft

Do they strain and push to get it out?? Does it come out after straining?

We took Mika to the drs and brought up the fact that he was straining so bad with each poop even tho they were soft. He had been at a conference that Friday and they talked about the straining. He said that Mika strains so hard bc he is trying to poop against graviety, lying down on his back, with nothing to brace against and weak stomache muscles.

That made sense to me.

Do they cry when pooping or farting? Sometimes

If you changed formula or went on meds, did you see a change in their poop? NA

Ok, here is mine.........what do you all think?

Are you BF/FF/or Both? FF

Color? Dark Green

Consistency? sometimes soft, sometimes explosive, sometimes runny.....never hard.

Loose, runny, hard, normal? loose, runny and soft...it varies.

Do they strain and push to get it out?? Does it come out after straining? YES YES!! She strains on and off all day and then "usually" poop a the end of the day and feels better. It's like she is trying to get it out and it just won't come out until much later.

Do they cry when pooping or farting? Yep!

If you changed formula or went on meds, did you see a change in their poop? before she started zantac her poop was normal soft. Once we started zantac her poop got runny once the doc put her on similac sensitive her poop changed to dark green and varies in consistency.
