Hailey has done really well eating, but lately it just dribbles out of her mouth and then she spits up later, maybe cause she is eating too fast? I'm not sure why, but it's frustrating! I stick a burp cloth under her chin and it ends up soaked!! I have gradually been switching to parent's choice formula from similac and it seems to not have lots of bubbles, maybe that makes it come out faster? I'm frustrated with all the mess and spit up!! I make sure to stop about every ounce or 2 to burp her. She eats about 3 oz. every 3 hours.

Evan's isn't constant but when I notice it I just slap a bib on him.

Was she doing this with the Similac? Maybe the Parents Choice is not agreeing with her......

That's what I was thinking too. I just don't get why she can't keep it in her mouth when she's eating. Maybe she just wants to suck really hard, but then gets too much. If I keep the nipple in her mouth and let the air out to create a suction it seems to help a little. Yesterday was a little better.

It could also be the bottle and/or nipple. What are you using?

Try tipping the bottle down to break the suction every 5 swallows. The OT has us mechanically breaking Mikas suction by doing this so he doesnt get too much and aspirate it.
