So my dentist recommended I start taking probiotics since I am breastfeeding and have some problems with my teeth (no money to get all the work done! dentists are so ridiculously expensive) hes worried about the baby getting the bacteria through the breastmilk.
Interesting... I've never heard probiotics recommended for dental issues, but maybe I should try it! (I had three emergency extractions done just a couple of weeks ago- ick.)
That said, I've used probiotics for a number of things over the years. Unfortunately, the more expensive, refrigerated ones really do work best. The "shelf stable" variety aren't really. I always get mine at a local nutrition store, but Whole Foods or the like often have them a bit cheaper.

hmmm ive never heard of probiotics for dental work either. I have some dental work that needs to be done but I have no money for that. Dentists are absurdly expensive. I cant even believe what my bills are AFTER insurance :/ I will definitely be looking into this and stalking this thread lol
