I have not and don't really know what to tell you. I guess if your ped recommended it it should be ok?

We have given Vivi Pedialyte. It helped when she was sick because the formula just made the mucus worse for her. We learned that she prefers the orange one to the purple. Also, it's a lot nicer with spit up. We just gave like an ounce and alternated between that and normal feedings. It keeps them wetting their diapers and Vivi seemed to handle it fine.

Ohhhh, I bought the unflavored.......last night I gave her some and she drank 1/2 an ounce, she didn't seem to mind the taste? How long did she drink it and how long did her cold last?

Lincoln had a cold at 4 weeks and I just continued with breastmilk and he was fine. I always thought pedialyte was more for situations where they were throwing up and couldn't keep anything down or had high fevers, etc.

Yeah Pedaylte helps to keep her hydrated and wetting diapers. It's good she's not fussy about flavoring! Vivi's cold went almost 10 days but I think what really helped was the nebulizer, putting her bed on an angle, and using a Cool Mist Humidifer. It probably depends on the cold as well.

She'll get better mama!
