Do you clean LOs ears? Do you use q-tips? Ive noticed a little bit of wax in her ears but everyone warns against using q-tips now. I have the special shaped ones for children though.

So what do you do?

I just wipe around with a warm cloth, I personally wouldn't be comfortable sticking anything in his ears yet. I wild be more curious as to if there is a safe/preferred way to flush out wax?

My pedi says that Q-tips are a no-no for everyone...adults included......I use a washcloth and just wipe her ears externally.....

I use a wash cloth when I bathe him but I also use the special baby q-tips to get the excess wax out. The baby q-tips dont allow you to go into the ear canal, they just get the wax off externally

I use a warm wipe, but I may look into the baby q-tips, I had no idea they existed and Parker has places in his ears that I just cannot get to!

I usually wipe his ears with a washcloth while giving him a bath but the other day DH found a little glob of wax so I took a q-tip and got the visible wax out but it was just on the surface of the ear I didn't put the q-tip inside. I'll have to look into the baby q-tips! Good idea!

LOL, funny question, because we just bought a wax vac (yep the one from the obnoxious info-mercial) only DH has used it thus far, but I'll try it on her if/when I notice crud in Winnie's ears.
