Does the thermostat on yours work? My house thermostat says it is 71 degrees, but the monitor says it is 77 degrees.. what?!

We don't have the Angel Care one but have the Tommee Tippee one that's very similar. The thermostat would do the same thing, but that's because I had it in the crib at first, and it was resting against the bumper, so we think the little bit of heat from the monitor was getting trapped against the sensor. I moved it to an open area where I was still able to get the camera angled on her, and it has been fine since.

I did, however, have to turn the sensor pad off because I was getting numerous false alarms EVERY night. I put her in it once and stood in her room, and watched her breathing, and it STILL went off. I exchanged it and the same thing happened. The sensor is turned up as high as it can go, so I just bought the Snuza.

Noe but I have a serenity star which has a therm on it and its always reading a few degrees warm. It's consistent though so we just sort of ignore it.

I have one and the temperature is about 2-3 degrees different than the thermostat. My thermostat is in the hallway outside the nursery.
