I don't have a doorway jumper but when Linc is big enough (probably around 4 months or so) I'm planning to get him either a jumperoo or the frame that has the jumpy seat in it. I was always afraid they'd swing around and bang into the door frame with the ones that hang in the door. My first son absolutely LOVED his jumperoo though and would jump happily in it for hours if I let him.
I was waiting for Evan to be 4 months before we got either the exersaucer or Jumping Johnny. Thankfully his paternal Grandmother sent him a $50 BRU gift card for Easter. All I have to do now is pick one out! I remember how much fun my neice had in hers (Jumping Johnny).
We have a door jumper but haven't used it yet. I bought it on consignment and don't know the brand. We're waiting for a little more head control, and testing that out in the Bumbo a few minutes at a time. Once he's a little steadier in the Bumbo I'll introduce the door jumper.
I expect to use it in a double doorway. I'm not as worried about him bumping into the frame of a single doorway (there's a tray around it that would protect him), but I am worried about little fingers getting pinched in the door hinge.
I haven't bought an exersaucer yet... but I'm thinking it's about time to find one.
