Is my baby the only one who farts like an adult? It's SO loud!

Oh gosh, I love her baby farts! She always looks so darn proud after getting a good one out, and my 2 year old likes to annouce "Taylor tooted!"

Also, I call her Grunty McGrunterson because she grunts so much when trying to fart or poo, so your title made me smile

Ok, so glad Baxter isn't the only one! I can't tell you how many times I have to ask DH if that was him or the baby! The other day, Baxter was playing in the nursery, and my dog was sleeping in there on his bed. Bax let one rip, and Peanut woke up with a start, and ran out of the room!

Oh, yes! I use the same types of nicknames with my kiddos! Lol! I call Clairre Stinky Stinkerson when she's tooty. I also have to question if it was her farting or Daddy...

I automatically use rhyming nicknames. I call Ellie Ellis McGillis or El Bell, Anna is Annie Bananie, and Reed is Lou Magoo (long story...). Your title cracked me up!

Julius is def a farty butt man. Sometimes when we're out in public I turn red if he lets one crack, but at home I cheer him on. Hey it's better to have an empty apartment than an unhappy renter

The first time Vivi really let one go, we thought it was my brother. That bad. It's truly impressive. She's had 1 minute long farts. No shame haha

Kingston is Farty McMarty over here. He stinks so bad sometimes that I have to use spray in the room. The other night I had to stick my nose in the pillow so I could breathe! They are loud and stinky! ...but oh so cute!

Yep same for us too LOL and they are super long sometimes! I've never heard someone fart for so long like this kid, ha!

When DS1 was a baby he farted SSOOOO LOUD and when he was in his carseat it made it sound louder. Well I was at my 6wk check up, he farted while in his seat and the nurses were outside the door. I was soo embarrassed because you know they prob didn't believe it was the baby lol

Ember is not only a loud tooter, but she has the longest toots too. Sometimes when people hold her, they think she is doing something in there. I have to explain that she is just tooting up a storm. Luckily they aren't stinky.

I stopped asking if the toots were DH and he stopped asking if they were mine, we just now assume its Ember

A regular conversation in our house begins: Was that you or the baby?!
And she grunts too. I swear what wakes her up in the middle of the night still is her grunting removal of her farts. Then she figures since she's up, she'll ask mom for a snack.

When I first read this title, I thought it was a shout out to MommaTooters!

Yes Lucy farts loud at times- especially at night. There will be times when I'm up feeding her, and she'll fart really loud. It will wake DH up and he'll say, "Was that you?!"

harvey is super gassy, but he saves his loudest ones for the most awkward possible moments. my dh and i both had doctors appointments last week, so little man came with us. while dh was having his exam, harv and i were alone in the waiting room, except for only one other patient. that was a lot of absolute silence punctuated by *so* so many super loud farts. ...and each one was followed by the awful snort noise i make when im trying desperately not to laugh out loud at my son's gas.

Hah! So true! It totally cracks us up, sounds just like an adult!

We supplement formula on top of my BFing and since switching to soy formula he farts way less. Unless I eat brussel sprouts (my favorite)!!! Some people are anti-soy but it helps him seem SO much more comfortable.
