Lucy has definitely found her voice. And she has a set if lungs on her! Usually she reserves her screams and high pitched screeching for when she is excited and playing. But lately she has figured out how to add the scream into her cries. I don't mind it so much, but when she throws the screeching into her crying, ahhhh!
DD1 was never this vocal as a baby.. And she rarely cried either so this is all new.
Maybe she's practicing to be a cheerleader someday. She has her daddies drill seargent voice!
Alayna started screaming and screeching too! Its so funny though she only does it when we are home and if its just DH and I, she just babbles non stop adding these screeches in randomly, but when we go out shes super quiet so no one believes us lol.
She also added the screech into her cry, scared the **** outta me the first time! She was in her crib and did it at like 5am. I dont think I have gotten out of bed that fast since boot camp, maybe not even then.
yes the screech in the cry is def a heart stopper! I thought Julius had to have some kinda of horrible pain because the first time I heard the screech cry was when he got his 2nd round of shots. But now he does it if he's overtired. He likes to scream and screech when he's excited too, my eardrums feel like they could explode at times when it's really schrill.
Over the past week, Josh has found his voice....and boy does he love to use it. He talks, screams, squeals, just about all day and now he even started doing it at nighttime just to let me know he is awake. Like "Ahhhhhhh hi mom im up...give me a baba or something" its cute, but a bit frustrating about every hour at night lol. He has been such a great sleeper from about 8 weeks on...and now... not so much. Im hoping the pedi has an idea at our 4 month check in on tues!!
