Does anyone have any recommendations for sturdy sippy cups??? I have the Gerber and the luv'n care and they have been leaking. He also likes to bang it against stuff and or he just chews the spout out. Any recommendations are helpful thanks! He's one now and I still don't know what I'm doing

I use Playtex with and without the straw. he loves banging them too. I just keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't water the carpet too much.

My favorites are:

Philips Avent BPA Free Natural Drinking Cup, 9 ounces

and

Nuk Gerber Graduates Advance Developmental Leak Proof Straw Sippy Cup

These have both been great with my kid who struggled a LOT with other sippy cups. He's learned how to use a straw and a regular cup with both of these as guides. And the cups are both legitimately leak proof. On the Nuk, I had to mark the "open" and "closed" spots because that paint came off, but it was no big deal. These are my new "tell everybody" favorites.

The only leak I had was with the straw cup when the pressure changed on a plane taking off... and I heard that's pretty much standard because of the way the valve works on the straw.
