Hi everyone! It's been awhile since I've been on the boards but I'm glad to be back and excited about getting to know everyone around here. My 4th and last baby was born June 3 and her name is Kylie! Her dd was supposed to be June 14, but like all of mine she had other plans and while my others are born the day before except for DD2 she came a lot earlier on her own. I started having contractions the night before but since they weren't consistent I chalked them up to braxton hicks. Well fast forward to that Sunday morning and sure enough closer but not lets run to the hospital close. But with that being said I know my body and how my other pregnancies have been and told DH that we needed to call his parents to watch the kids so we can see what's going on. Left the house b at 9am and on the way I can feel them and I'm timing but again figured they would confirm braxton hicks and send me on my way. Bahahaha boy was I wrong, turns out they were real contractions and I was dialated to a 7! What the heck!!! So not expecting that since I felt great and not like I did with DD1. So as not to have a repeat of DD1 I asked no pleaded that I still had time for an epidural, and sure enough the anesthesiologist just so happened to be in the hallway-ahhh I can relax now. Now can I just say that my DH never ceases to amaze me on how squeamish he can be I mean this is number 4 and he looks like he's going to pass out. But in his defense he does get worried so I'll give him that. Got the blessed epidural (hubby ran to the door so as not to witness), dr. came and popped my bag (hubby looks grossed out) and after 2 push's my precious little princess was born at 11:39 am!! To hear her sweet little cry just melted our hearts and what's not love about holding your sweet little newborn!
