Although I exclusively nursed Bea....I didn't do it in public unless I was in a changing room, etc. With Eden I am much more on the go and frankly don't feel like "hiding"......so I bought the Mayfair Bebe Au Lait and got it yesterday!!!!!!! I am so glad.....it was even useful this morning to use while I was pumping at the kitchen table and my oh-so-modest mother was here!

With Bea my favorite purchase was the Brest Friend nursing pillow and with Eden it will be between this and the sling.

That is great Nadine!!! I would have loved something like that if BF would have worked better for Ahren and I. I am so VERY VERY modest AND my son was 13 when Ahren was born so I was a little nervous about BF in front of him.

I love the print too!

That's such a good idea and so cute! I got something similar but ugly and cheap from Wal Mart when I was nursing Amber, but by the time I got it, she was very active and always grabbed it and either moved it so it didn't hide anything, or grabbed it and suffocated herself.

Oh I LOVE them!!!!!!!!!!! I really wish I would have had something like that with Jake. I bet I would have nursed a bit longer, as nursing in public was a MAJOR hindrance for us.

I love that print! I never really nursed in public either, but with that I might consider it. I love the name "hooter hider"

that's super cool. i was never really sheepish about nursing in public... i was more of a whip it out kind of nursing mama, but those are super cute! i hope you find it helps make the process less cumbersome.

I got the exact same thing when I was nursing with Jehan. I especially needed it for when I was travelling to Pakistan cause I had to nurse him on the plane. It is the best thing ever! I loved it and it worked so well everywhere! I bought a light color..infact the white one with the pink flowers on the main homepage is the exact print I got. I cant wait to use it again.

That looks really neat! Definately more fun than holding a burp cloth so it does not fly off...LOL!

I might have to look into one cause Leah is not a fan of being under a burp cloth when she is nursing...

That's great, Nadine!! Anything to make the nursing experience more comfortable and keep it going.

I, too, am far less sheepish about nursing in public this time around than I was with Kira. With Kira, I would go hide in my car or sit in a bathroom/changing room/etc. With Charlotte, as long as I can find a place to sit, I'll whip it out. (Respectfully, of course. I don't bare all in public, but as long as I am covered and comfortable, I will feed Miss Charlotte no matter where I am.)
