Her quality of life had rapidly declined and there was blood everywhere this morning, so Matt & I decided that it was time.

We took her to the vet and had her put down today. I have thought about it long and hard and I know in my heart that this was the best decision we could have made for her.

The crematory will pick her up and prepare her ashes, then we will go pick out an urn. Evie has been calling for and in a bit Matt & I will have to clean up all of the blood she lost this morning.

I miss her so much.

oh no! jess, i am truly sorry. it's like loosing a part of you. she was your precious baby and that is not a slight thing.

i am sorry for your loss. i hope that you and matt find peace, soon. evie, too!
