KC is going to be in a TV commercial! I used to work at Curves and I still go there to workout, and when I went there last night there was a note there for me from a woman who owns a production company saying that they were doing a commercial for St. Judes and they were looking for an infant to be in it. She said if I was interested to e-mail some pictures to a woman in charge of it, so I did, and she called me today and said they want to hire him for it! We're filming it on Wednesday...my little boy's a star!
Today, actually, when I was going to work I brought Alayna in with me because she looked so cute in her santa hat and christmas outfit. Well, we were walking by Santa and someone was doing some kind of documentry thing there (it was actually on the news lol) anyway...I, being nosey, went over to see what was going on. Afterwards, the lady came over to me and asked if I wanted to get her into modeling/advertising & stuff. I told her I'd think about it. She's with a NYC agency. I don't th ink I'm gonna accept...but it's great to know that they think she has the potential!!
Not anymore! The shoot for the commercial was on Wednesday, and I learned the day before that he was only the backup incase the other baby they hired was fussy. I knew they hired another baby too, but I thought they were on even ground, and that they were going to shoot footage of both of the and pick the best. So, we went there and the other baby was happy as can be, so they didn't even shoot any footage of KC. It would have only been of his hands and feet anyway, no face..which I didn't know until we got there. Oh well, though..he still got paid! We were there for less than two hours and he got $100. That's more than I've ever made in two hours!
Awww that's too bad, but hey it's cool that he got paid any way! I guess he's so cute that he doesn't even have to do any work to be paid, he just get's paid for being himself!
