How are the new Mamas doing? No, really...how are YOU doing? I'd be doing fine if Amber listened to me once in a while!!! I'm ready to tear my hair out. OMG.

How old is the baby? Grace is 2 months, 1 week and 2 days. lol.

How much sleep are you both getting at night? I'm getting an average of about 7 hours a night.

How is your Nov toddler doing w/ the new addition? Fine for the most part, but when Grace is hungry and crying and Amber is tired or just in a bad mood, she tells Grace to shush, be quiet or even shut up.

Anything else you want to share? OMG. I need to get rid of Amber for a few hours today! Last night was fan-freaking-tastic without her, I can't even express how badly I needed a break from her.

How are the new Mamas doing? No, really...how are YOU doing?

We had a rough week with me going back to work, fighting with Tony, and just the everyday grind of dealing with a toddler and a baby. I think the fight is finally over which is good, and I am so grateful for my MIL who is just incredibly supportive and understanding- can you believe she packed me a lunch for everyday that I worked and made us dinner on Wed. night. !! She is an angel.

How old is the baby?
3 months this past Wed. He is such a sweet mellow baby. We are fortunate again.

How much sleep are you both getting at night? Michael sleeps from approx. 9-5, so I get a good night's sleep for the most part. TJ actually has been the one keeping me up later.

How is your Nov toddler doing w/ the new addition?

He wants us constantly to play with him. If I am nursing, I have to play. As soon as Tony comes home, it's "Daddy play with me." He hands you a toy and you have to play with dialogue. It wears on us, but I know it is because he feels the difference in our daily life. I think he is finally getting used to Michael, but he still wants to be #1. On Thursday night he asked me if we could leave Michael at home when I took him to his Grammy's when I went to work on Fri. He loves to kiss him and is always trying to hug his head which drives us crazy, but he is often very sweet with him.

Anything else you want to share?

I am getting my first post partum period today which is very strange to me. I am still breastfeeding exclusively, but it must be because Michael sleeps such a long stretch at night and then I am now pumping in the AM. I nurse at 5 a.m. and then pump at 7 and then don't nurse again until after 12:30 pm. I didn't get it until TJ was 10 mo. I find it strange that for the first time in almost 4 years we will be trying to prevent a pregnancy instead of trying to get one.

How are the new Mamas doing? No, really...how are YOU doing? Really great! I am feeling much better emotionally then I did after Alexis was born, I think I had a small case of the baby blues when she was born, and I don't feel that at all this time, I feel really great!

How old is the baby? 4 weeks tomorrow

How much sleep are you both getting at night? I get a decent amount of sleep, she typically goes every 3-4 hours in between feedings, then only eats for about 15 minutes and goes right back to sleep, so it isn't bad at all. We have had a few rough nights (one bad night was after I ate CHinese for dinner, so I am staying away from that!!)

How is your Nov toddler doing w/ the new addition? Really well, she loves her to death, kisses her, talks to her, sings to her and loves to help. She has been a little defiant towards Dan and I , but it hasn't been bad at all.

Anything else you want to share? I *think* I got a real smile from Sara this morning! I am not sure, because she is still so young, but it sure seemed like it! So cute!

How are the new Mamas doing? No, really...how are YOU doing? Im doing great! Things have been a lot easier with the baby this second time around. Nursing, recovery, getting out with the little ones etc. I remember with my first post partum I went through the blues and it lasted a few weeks but this time I havent gon through that which is great.

How old is the baby? Rafae is 5 weeks and 2 days. Amazing how time flies!

How much sleep are you both getting at night? Rafae gets up 2 times at night at 3-4 hour stretches. So we're not sleep deprived at all. I just feed him and put him down and he falls back to sleep on his own. He's an easy baby.

How is your Nov toddler doing w/ the new addition? He's doing great with the baby but is a challenge otherwise. But Im hearing now that it is a normal phase also Jehan might also be going through the 'trying 3s'...so a combination of new baby and that is making life a little difficult.

Anything else you want to share? Jehan starts school Nov 5th which will hopefully be a good change for Jehan. And another thing my mom leaves on Wed. So Im going to be flying solo with both kiddos. AHHH!

How are the new Mamas doing? No, really...how are YOU doing? STRESSED!

How old is the baby? 5 weeks

How much sleep are you both getting at night? Not much. Daniel is *so* afraid he'll miss something cool that he forces himself to stay awake. Like yesterday, he was awake from 4:30 p.m. until midnight, and most of that was grouchy. A few smiles and cuddles, but mostly grouchy. Up twice during the night. Awake all morning. Ugh! Sleep, please!

How is your Nov toddler doing w/ the new addition? wonderful!!!

Anything else you want to share? Sorry I'm such a slacker lately. I pretty much just lurk ... even on the boards I host. I'm too exhausted to post, and I usually have my hands full while I'm lurking anyway. I'm having a hysterectomy next week and going to AR for xmas, so it'll be at least a couple more weeks before you see much of me. I'm already back to work... but that's not going well. I desperately want to quit and just be a SAHM. Working while mommying is insane... at least when they're this age, anyway. Maybe not in a couple of months if I can get Daniel to sleep in the afternoons when Ben does.
