Hello everyone! I just found out that I am pregnant the other day. I really don't know if I am going to be due in Oct. or Nov. (I never really kept track of my periods ), and I dont have my first appointment until the 8th of March (seems like a lifetime away!!! ). Soooo...I was hoping you all could maybe answer a couple questions for me. I'm not a first time mom...I actually have a 5 yr old girl and a 4 year old boy. But it has been so long, that I almost do feel like this is my first time all over again! I was wondering, have any of you guys experienced any cramping and backaches in your first trimester? I'm not cramping really bad, just basically a little bit of a backache/dull cramps. I was also wondering, if you had, are you still experiencing them? or have they gone pretty much away? I'm always perinoid when it comes to being pregnant. I miscarried my first, and almost lost my daughter. Didnt have any problems with my son, but I also really don't remember anything about my pregnancy with him. Everyone said that I was pregnant with an alien baby because I was always happy (I was a major grump when I was preg. with my daughter...lol). So now with this one, I'm fine except for that. Just wanted to know how normal of a thing this actually is. Also, has anyone been experiencing INSOMNIA???? I get really tired, but when it comes time to actually lay down and sleep, my mind decides to kick into overdrive!!!!!!!! Let me know what you guys think!!!!!
I've been definately cramping, not so bad though. Just once in awhile, but they usually go away. Especially after sex, I usually cramp. And backache? CONSTANTLY! lol My lower back feels horrible. Other than that, just headaches. I had insomnia before I got preggo, but it seems Baby is a better cure than sleeping pills lol I've been falling asleep by 9pm most nights.
Cramping, definitely normal. I was doing the same thing in the beginning. Worrying about everything. I have had two miscarriages and one ectopic pregnancy so like you I worry a lot. Try to remember that pregnancy in the beginning is a lot like bad PMS. The November board will be up soon (if you turn out to be a November mom). But I am thinking October because November just started being able to test positive.
Hello and welcome to JM! I am also having cramping and backaches! More so then last time around. Atleast my morning sickness has subsided! I also have the odd bout of insomnia although I am phsically exhausted
Hi and welcome! Cramping and backaches...yep me too. As everyone else has stated, the cramping is normal. I had an OB appt yesterday and my doc said not to worry. The only issue is spotting with cramps. Backaches, however, are a normal part of my daily life so I don't notice them as much. (I had a boating accident last summer which caused/aggravated a first degree spondylolisthesis.) Oh well at least my doc says that I'm a prime candidate for back labor.
