Will your preschooler have a Valentine's Day party at school? I haven't gotten a letter yet, but I'm sure they will have something.

Will s/he bring/make Valentine's Day cards? Nicholas and I looked at the ones (to make) on FamilyFun.com and he saw a bunch he wanted to make for his friend.

What kind of Valentine's Day cards will your preschooler have? Not sure yet....we saw some cute flowers made out of paper and lollipops. There was other ones made with pencils.

Will s/he bring/make Valentine's Day cards? Yes, we worked on them yesterday. She wrote her name on every card and colored every card (so up her alley). They were a box of cards that you decorate/color each one.

What kind of Valentine's Day cards will your preschooler have? They are made my Crayola...and came w/ lollipops for each student.

All the students have to wear PINK on that day as well. They are working on that color that week and they are taking a group pic. How many of you moms of boys have a PINK shirt for you son??? I have to keep this in the back of my mind for next year, when Lucas will have to wear pink shirt as well.

I'm sooooo exctied to be apart of this thread!!! Ethan just started preschool Feb 2nd and LOVES it!!

I haven't gotten a letter or anything about it yet. Amber missed school today though, so for all I know they might have sent letters today. I'm not sure. They might or might not do something. I'd have to think they will do something.

We actually got a letter saying that they won't do Valentines Day cards this year because it falls on Sunday. The teacher wrote that they will practice tracing and cutting hearts out in honor of the day. They have learned about the holiday already when they studied "celebrations" a few months ago. That is actually OK with me. I am sure he will do something next year. Connecticut has some pretty strict regulations about sending in food to the classroom so there would never be a food party unless the food was made in the classroom.

We will make homemade Valentines cards for family sometime this next week.
