It's been two years since she got her tubes put in and her adenoids removed. We had an appointment yesterday with the ENT. He's going to remove the tubes in two weeks. She'll have to be put under but not with an IV and everything like last time. Just via gas mask. That is a relief. Still nervous about it of course, but happy that at least the IV is not necessary.

Everybody cross your fingers and toes and everything else that her hearing does ok without the tubes. It will take them a month or two to heal. And then we go back and see how she is. If she's having trouble, they will have to install another set later. I would be so happy if she doesn't need them anymore.

Good luck! It's always horrible on the nerves when they have to go through a procedure!
