Do you have plans? Does your LO have an outfit or do they just wear normal clothes?

No plans. Just selling tons of buns and brownies to the grilling masses in Dallas. *sigh*

We don't have a clue yet. We were thinking of possibly going on vacation around then (thought about washington dc which would be cool on independence day) but we still haven't made any decisions. I don't think I have any red/white/blue outfits this year. I might have to get them tshirts from old navy or something like that.

We go to my aunt's every year, followed by the pig roast with my dad's family. I love this holiday!!! I might be kid free on the 4th for the first time since becoming a mom so I might make the best of it.

We're going to DH's aunt's house this year. We've never really been to a family thing on his side, he usually never wants to go.

I may try and find some cute outfits for the kids, since this will be the first time a lot of his family is meeting either of them.

I have no idea what we're doing yet. Every year for the past 3 years we went to the fireworks on base and had a BBQ with our friends/neighbors, but now that we moved I really have no idea! I'm going to have to find out if they do fireworks around here...maybe go to Annapolis, I bet they do fireworks over the water or something! Amy, I would not step foot near DC on July 4th, it will be sooooo crowded! Essentially it'd be almost like going to Times Square on New Years, I think lol

Well we may not be going to DH's aunt's now, as DH may have to work if no-one will cover for him. Fingers crossed that someone will step up & cover for him.

They don't make super cute things for boys though (for cheap anyway), so I was just going to run to TCP in the mall tomorrow and get...

(BTW, those are on sale for $3.99 each AND I have a coupon for 15% off, and it's something they can wear again even after July 4th)

Amy I'd avoid DC as much as possible on the 4th. It's too hot, crowded and with security it's just an all around mess.

I'm working and not sure what we'll do after that.

We are going to visit my parents and drop Jesse and Dylan off with their dad at the same time.
We never buy them special outfits for the 4th.
