Have any of you had or know anybody who has had plastic surgery? I am thinking about getting breast implants. After 5 kids I am looking pretty saggy.
Anyway I was wondering how to go about in finding a good surgeon. I have seen plenty of news reports about bad surgeons but cant remember any of the tips they gave for finding a good one.
Looking at the pictures online it is easy to see a good boob job from a bad one. I dont want mine pointing in different directions or way far apart from one another or different in size!

i've been thinking about this too. mine have always been not so big, but now they are just saggy! DH wants me to have it done, but of course; he's a man and likes boobs! if i do it, it'll be for me not to please him. i'm just scared to do it. you hear so many bad things and i've never had surgery before.

I have the opposite problem. Mine are big (DD) and sagging. I would love to get a reduction but I'm scared. Good luck getting new boobies!

I don't want implants, but I would like the ones that I have to be firm and perky. It's amazing what having children and breastfeeding can do to your breasts.......UGH!

If you are only bothered by the sagginess and not the size, then why not just get a lift? I think it would be a much safer surgery without the added risk of complications with the implants.

I would love to get a lift but I haven't even bothered looking into it, I'm sure it would not be covered by medicare because there's no medical reason to do it and it would be purely cosmetic. And also I'm in Atlantic Canada, plastic surgery is just not that common, I would assume I'd have to travel to Toronto or possibly Montreal to get it done, plus pay for the procedure so it's definitely not an option for me.

Good luck to you if you decide to do it!! Would you have a lot of help with the kids during recovery time? I would assume you couldn't pick up the babies for a long time!

im a DD, but im not really all that saggy. i do do chest presses to build up my pectoral muscles, which helps build up that muscle and pull up the breast a bit.

with that said, if i get saggy i am getting a lift. my cousin in law got a lift and implants. she looks great and i was quite impressed. i think most of the better surgeons have free consultations. heh

Ooo, good luck, Cindy. I feel like I'm too big...but maybe if I lose more weight I'll lose more boob LOL! I wouldn't know where to look any of that stuff up though.

I told my husband that after we're done having kids, we're taking all of the $$ we saved on formula by BF and putting it towards a boob lift...

He says as long as they don't get any smaller it's fine by him! (ETA: They're DDs now.)

I'd also like to get a tummy tuck...

GL to you, Cindy!

My boobs are about 10 years older than yours if I'm not mistaken.... They don't look that much different than before I had Lauren. I was a manual screenprinter for a long time and had killer pecs but they still sagged. Gravity is a bi@$# girls! But I've wanted a reduction since I was 13.

I am also planning to get some things done, probably next year sometime. I am definitely getting a tummy tuck and I would love to get a boob job too, but only if money allows. I have a lot of weight to lose before I have it done, so I figure one year should be enough time to get in shape. I'm not sure what you need to look for in a surgeon, I found one near me and had a consultation. I saw actual before and after pics of her patients, she was really nice and spent quite a while with me during the consultation. Hopefully everything will go well... Good luck finding a doctor!

Well I am curious about it... I have always wanted to get implants, I am like not even an A cup and it really bothers me! I was hardly a B with my boobs FULL of milk I know it shouldn't be a big deal but I def. want them done. I hate my body because of it... I'm sick of looking like a 10 year old girl LOL! I mean, even after nursing they don't sag because there is nothing to them. ugh!

I had a friend go from a small B to a large C/small D and they look really great! Although she just had a baby and they are huuuuge now and you can totally see her scar from the bottom. So I would wait until I was done habing kids..

There are so many options (I'm addicted to Dr. 90210 LOL) but I think if I did it, I would get it done through my navel.... sorry to thread jack! Let me know how it goes! I am so curious about this stuff. Good luck!

Oh and since we're on the topic, I'd get a nose job too. I've always hated my nose. OK I sound like I'm wallowing in self pity here LOL I swear I'm not so hard on myself. I'd like to get it a tiny bit smaller but nothing too drastic. *sigh* THAT'S why I'm going to college- to have money to do things for ME

I will definitely ask about getting it done thru my navel. My csection scar is HORRIBLE. I'd hate to have 2 scars on my chest like that! Plus my belly button could use some work (remember it looks like a big anus).
