I work from home and am constantly pulling staples out of paperwork. I am very careful to put them all in a little container, but I'm sure occasionally one will end up on the floor.

What happens if a baby ingests something like that, like a staple or something metal or whatever? I mean, the wouldn't just pass it out the other end would they? How would I know if she did?

IMO they would most likely pass it, but there is always that chance that it could cause some damage. I can only imagine the stories btdt moms and our moms have about the crazy things they found in diapers.

I have foudn WEIRD things in my kids diapers. I found a washer ( the things that go on bolts) in Ashlie's diaper and I found WHOLE GRAPES in her diapers too !!!! Talk about gross. With staples Iwould be worried about it cutting her bowels or getting stuck in there, most likely it would pass right through. if it got stuck you would notice her having a hard time going and passing blood.

Yikes! I would just get down on my hands and knees every day and see if I could see something from baby's POV... scares me to think about!

Wow, a washer and a whole grape? I don't think I could swallow a whole grape, or a washer, actually.
