Which do you prefer?

Do you have just one set, or do you switch them up?

well definitely mittens but I feel like a kid in them, so I wear gloves when I am out. (unless I'm playing of shovelling, then I wear mittens)
By the way...why do they only sell gloves for boys? Why are mitten unacceptable for boys? What is wrong with a pair of plain black mittens? Is that girly? What about mittens makes them feminine? they keep hands WAAAY warmer than gloves do. BUT, they dont sell them for boys. The only potentially boy-ish mittens I can find end up having rhinestones or fur on them. I guess if you are a boy you are expected to freeze your fingers off.

Not only that....I'm sure you moms of boys can agree...is it not a MAJOR PITA to make sure each finger is in the right finger slot every time!?!?

Gloves....I have to have my fingers free. I get Lauren gloves too. One thing I don't get are the fingerless gloves. I found a cute knit hat for Lauren and I wanted to get her the matching gloves but they were fingerless. What's the point?

I switch them up - I have gloves and mittens. I find gloves easier because you can actually DO things with your hands. The boys both prefer mittens, and I am glad it is a huge PITA to get them to stick their fingers in there. LOL

I have 2 pairs of gloves, a thinner pair for when it's "normal" cold and a thicker pair for when it's cold cold.

Maybe if you were up in Canada you would have an easier time finding mittens for boys, there's mittens in all sizes here

I have a pair of convertible mittens that turn into sort of half-fingered gloves if that makes sense. I like them, because I can just flip off the end part if I need to use my iphone or tie a shoelace or something. that way I don't have to take the whole thing off and back on again.
