Does anyone plan on growing anything this year?

We were talking about sprucing up the front a bit (get it - spruce?). Anywho, I have no idea with what yet, we have a bunch of annual flowers out there, and I can't remember where they're located.

Julia wants to plant an apple tree, and I'm totally down with that.

I hate to say it but I really hope not. The garden is Mark's thing, and he always has great intentions but he works all the freakin time, so it ends up being me who does ALL the work of taking care of it.
I like getting the veggies in the end but it's SO not worth the effort to me, I hate gardening, every miserable second of it. I'd rather support the local farmers than waste my time and energy all summer.

We've done our front gardens so far, and we planted an apple tree out back. There are videos on how to prune them to keep them short and squatty.

Here are the ones in front of the house:

The front one took us SO long to clear out and get all fixed up.
