So will you be taking your kids to any easter egg hunts this year? I just saw one advertised here at the college where they are going to have over 8000 eggs. It will be Sat before easter. I think the kids will have a blast I'll also be checking to see if the city has a big one this year. Last year they had one, but I didn't know about it until it was over already.

We tried to go to a huge one like that once. It was actually a helicopter egg drop hunt, and it was miserable. I think it was over in about 10 seconds, because there were just SO many people. I'd love to find one that was medium sized to take them to... I know our city has one. We may try that one sometime. Usually we just do our own.

We never have public ones. Outdoor egg hunts don't really exist here, most years we're still covered in snow at Easter. We woke up to a big snow storm today, actually.

We went to one, it was cute but I was getting SO mad because parents were literally scooping up tons of eggs. Meanwhile poor Jake is running as fast as he can to find some. The neighbor that I went with said to think of it as, maybe the parents who were doing that didn't have money to buy their kids Easter eggs.

I still think it's rude though, I think they should let the kids onto the field and make the parents stay back on the sidewalk.

Part of it was that there were 8 golden eggs on the field and whoever got one, won a prize. I'm sure parents were all over them.

Thankfully my kids were happy and didn't seem to notice the rude @ss parents.
